Ashley J.J. White is a Treaty 7 based arts advocate, community builder, and writer of poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. Her work has been published in Berkeley Fiction Review, Paddler Press, and After Dinner Conversation, among others. She loves to read and write about social issues, philosophy, and relationships and is deeply inspired by the natural world.

She advocates for her fellow writers through her job at the Writers' Guild of Alberta, and when she's not writing or community organizing, she's baking cakes for her kid's stuffed animals, smelling flowers, and jumping into rivers and lakes, no matter how cold.
